I haven't had mine since then either. Overseas tour and 2 deployments later. It's had a lot of love these past 6 months though

Changes the thermostat because it was running cold and swapped the plenum hose. Found my old one had a leak underneath. Hoping for improved gas mileage now!

WTF. You are living in the land of the free (in terms of defenders) and you aren't driving one? Come on man, buy a beater or lease a spanking new one or something!

Got OME 2751 and 2755 in and prepped for install! I waited until the cage and ARB were installed to see of it was necessary... The extra weight has definitely changed the handling characteristics of the truck. It's near-scary how much sway the vehicle has now. Hopefully the new springs help a lot

This photo shows how much spring compression there is on a very slight grade. This is where I have always parked and it is a notable difference.

Also got new km2 tires installed on new wolfs... 255s were a tight fit with stock suspension but it works for now.

I ended up changing the shocks on the 110 today. I broke the bolts off the tower ring, good thing I had a set incase. I followed some advice I saw on a post here and used anti-seize non the bolts to prevent that from happening next time. The shocks I pulled off were dead no rebound at all when compressed, I guess it was way over due...

Let's see... Snow finally melted a bit so I wanted to take the truck out since it has not moved since December. Was so happy to pull it out of the garage, I forgot to unplug the trickle charger from under the truck. Drove right over it and then the wire twisted around the rear rotor some how...
Good thing is I took a hammer and dolly to the charger case and fixed it a bit. It's still working.

I already did the new route for three years and eventually realized I didn't need a three-defender plan. Which also explains why I've not gotten a beather. Mike at ECR has my NAS 110 on the list to get worked on, and then I'll ship that over. If I had a house in the stares I'd be happy to accumulate defenders, but after I moved last summer I don't even have a garage any more. At this point, more defenders just makes my logistics tail longer and more difficult.

That being said, the withdrawal is getting bad...

Two packages from BoltonBits showed up in the mail earlier this week, so I have my work cut out for me when my Defender gets in from the shop... Turns out that almost-30-year-old indicators are not terribly bright.

Sure do Doug. As expected, it really doesn't want to pull all the extra weight. Struggles with 50 MPH on overpasses!

X2 When I have two boys, the wife, dog and a weekend of gear. Other than that she actually moves like expect a 30 year old survivor to move. I really would love to drive my same set up with a well provisioned 200tdi with power steering and AC. I just can't help but think the difference in performance is either going to push me to pull the full conversion trigger or make me realize a 2.5 normal isn't really all that bad. A big part of me wants to keep mine original and I know I hate myself if I did a conversion and then realize it only made the needle move a tiny bit.
