Installed Iron Goat Dash

Took a while to fix the previous owners botched stereo and aux light install. No rattles or squeaks. Very nice product

Awesome... I was looking at those... Let me know what you think.

Did you go from stock or did you have something in between?

I had IPF housings with some expensive halogen bulb (I think), can't recall the brand. That was a step up from the previous Hella "upgrade" the PO did which were bad.

Installed a Raptor Engineering instrument cluster support. Great replacement and a pretty simple fix for the rattly, broken plastic original.

Don't strain your eyes looking for it above. I had just removed the original at this point.

Installed Raptor Engineering binnacle, new gauge cluster, VDO tach/temp/fuel/ and sprayed wheel arches and mirrors with plasti-dip... pretty productive little weekend.

^^Disappointed my wiring didn't look like Green Blood's. So clean! The PO created a nightmare behind my cluster with what looked like a self installed alarm kit. At some point I'm definitely going to need to have a pro straighten out and probably rewire everything back there.

i learned how fragile the distributor actually is.... while doing the swap to the OEM parts. Killed it.
then i took advantage of AAA and shipped her off to get it fixed (So i also relearned for the 40th time why i have AAA!)
Anyway having the shop do both the Disti and the water pump and i am going to swear off the engine compartment.

I put a set of 285/75's (33's) I had sitting around on my D2 in prep for some expected snow. Was very surprised that they don't rub @ all with stock suspension.

Nice...just put a set on myself. I have a feeling they may rub on articulation. We'll see at Romp haha.

Zack with your slinky setup they may. On my 100% stock daily road truck they don't. I was very surprised. Threw the speedo off by 3mph though and is enough of an additional load I put the trans in sport mode until on the interstate.

so what do you think of the new lights?
im looking at the same ones........
did you find a good price on them?

------ Follow up post added February 12th, 2014 08:07 PM ------

i had my dash lights go out......then realized my rear tail light was out....

checked fuses and couldnt find anything wrong...

found a bulb and still didnt work.......

put in another bulb i knew what good and still didnt work....

then realized my front parking light was out as well.....

then noticed my trailer plug had MELTED!

cut the plug off and taped up wires......

went back to fuses and FOUND the fuse that was blown even though i swear i checked it......

now everything is fine.....turns out the entire left side parking front and rear lights AND my left side dash lights are all on the same fuse......

everything good now....bought a new trailer plug and will wire up this weekend....dont know why it melted but im assuming with all the salt and snow something just got in there a fried the thing........hopefully it wont be an issue.....

I need to spend a little more time with them, do some dark woods at night driving etc but so far so good! I found the best deal I could (sale on ebay) but still not great. I wish I could get over the half/half appearance of the Trucklites. That would have been a much better deal.
