Not sure it's fixed yet. After removing the Mallory Active Power Filter from the distributor-to-coil connection late last night, it started up, but it's still not running right.

Why is it running rough? Do you know what the problem is? Did you check the timing, Fuel pressure, or the plugs? I'll ask my uncle what he thinks. Good luck!

Tomorrow my mechanic (uncle) will be installing my new starter. I paid a total of 105 for the starter which was by far cheaper than every company that I've priced including the 3 day shipping from the UK. If I'd known that you work that good under such conditions I would have towed my car to you (lol). Good job mate.

My starter was a left over from a parted out RRC that I had on the shelf luckily it was good

I work under whatever conditions to avoid having to drive the MGB in this weather lol.

got my d90 County's rear wiper and washer working and replaced the nozzle....it was only a minor lift and I have much bigger things to tackle but sometimes you just feel like doing something you can knock out in an hour

Funny how you can forget that you needled certain parts until your actually working on the system. Like a brake proportions valve!

Cool, have checked it out and subscribed. Where did you end up on total cost for this?

$160 give or take. that includes 2 3" silicone elbows to tie it into the air cleaner. I welded it myself so if you have to pay a welder it would drive the price up a bit.

This is one of the most straightforward snorkel designs out there, and I find it odd that Mantec charges almost half a grand for it. Nice job!

It's so simple, yet for some reason, manufacturers can get away with charging crazy money for them...
