Rebuilt my front brake caliper with new pistons. Went smooth. Can't believe Rover doesn't want you to split the halves of the caliper--just SOOOOO much easier when you do.

I use compressed air so push the pistons out. The key is keeping them from coming out completely.

What pistons did you use?

Just did mine as well. I used clamps to
hold the Pistons I wasn't working on in and did them one at a time, pushing the old out with compressed air. Britpart stainless piston kit that come with OEM seals. They went in no problem and didn't need to split the callipers.

Just removed the self leveling unit off the 110. Was getting a weird clunk in the rear at times. Hope that was the cause. Running a test drive in a bit.

POR15 brand Metal prep/marine clean application since the sun was out. Hopefully in a few days I'll get to applying POR-15 and spray rustoleum before this NY winter hits!

I take warning labels seriously.

What pistons did you use?
I just used a set from Atlanic British--EACparts. Cheap and quick. Took about 1/2 hour, 20 minutes to clean the caliper, 10 to replace pistons and seals. Maybe less.

Is there a 'What have you done to your RRC today?' thread?

Well, I made a cardboard mock up of my interpretation of a retro vertical grille. Will be making two one with center lights and one without center lights for both of my RRCs.

I change the design of the arc on the vertical slot to more of a box with .25" fillets.

I know.. some of you dislike 5 bar but I needed some traction and support on my hood and wing tops. Rolling the spare down the hood and off the wing feels/sounds less "damaging" now
I picked up a set of Tithonus take offs. Might throw a final coat of paint on to get rid of rivets..

Looks sweet! Did you rattle can the 5 bar and repaint your bonnet? Both look really good.
