Well I took my wee man up to Glendevon reservoir for a walk then once home I fitted my HD Galvanised roof rack.

Rack looks very nice. What make is that? How's the ladder, too? In terms of stability and do you think it will wear well.

I finally rewired my tail lights today and superglued my map light lens that broke in half about a month ago... Hoping to have a hard top in the very near future.

Hi and thank you, the roof rack has no name I think they made by a defender enthusiast privately and named HD Galvanised roof rack as it's hard, heavy and pretty much bomb proof, I will try find more details on it and post up for you.

Rebuilt the wiring to the engine, replaced the alternator, installed the light surrounds, grill, bumper, winch, aux lights, and brush guard. Then I drove it about 20 miles.

Oh and my daughter named the 110 Frankenstein. Daddy it has parts from everything.....

Great looking truck. 20 miles without issue short or fire may as well be 20k after a full rebuild.
Love the name.

Thanks it's coming along, need to put the interior back together now. I need to put the headliner in fully, the passenger seat, overhead console and radio

Up to 50 miles now

That thing really pulls well with the new set up. If only it was a 5 speed it would be perfect lol.

Not mine, but I've been working on this truck all week at the dealership getting it ready for the lot. Doing oil cooler lines, front cover gasket, belts, radiator, front brakes, swivel ball seal, resealing the front diff, oil pan gasket, and worst of all, installing the soft top that has been sitting in a box since 2009. I'm doing a few other things as well, and I've made a big mess of parts in the shop.

Today I installed a Exmoor leather fold and lock rear seat for my son in the 110. I also installed a MudUK rear LED license plate light(my cover fell of my light weeks ago)

Thanks for the tip on that LED license plate light. I took my stock one off a few months ago because it was falling apart and haven't done anything about it since.

I think we should start a new thread titled "What have you kept putting off doing to your Rover so that it is now about dangerous?"

Haha, nice. My vehicle is of course completely safe in every respect, but IF there was anything like what you've stated, I wouldn't own up to it in a public forum

Ok, not all today but over the past month or so, I finally (after looking at the bits and pieces sitting in the garage for over a year...)

Removed factory stereo and replaced with digital only unit.
Installed new door speakers and rewired. (Does anyone make a box for mounting the rear speakers in the upper rear corners rather than where they are always covered by gear?)
Installed swing away tire carrier (why didn't I do this long ago!so much quieter)
Got new tires put on.
