Was getting ready to pull the heater on my ex-mod 110, motor blower was not working. I assumed it was seized or some such; thought I had better check the fuse...
Why can't all fixes be so simple and cheap?

Happy dance.

Swapped out all my lights for RDX leds as well as the reverse, rear fog and lic plate lights...nice and bright...will still have to find replacements for the wing lights...had to pull the dash indicator light as both sides were flashing, and as someone recommended will have to put a resister on the two front lights to get that dash light to work properly....

Had something recommended to me by a local ferry boat Captain. Sound reducing/Absorbing paint. Sounded nuts. But he told me they'd used it on a stairwell by the engine on one of his boats and it works.
So I bought a gallon (like $60) and yesterday started to lather it on the footwells and rear tub. Barely touched the hood yet. Brush on, very thick, built up a few layers. It has a light gray color.

Curiosity got the better of me this morning and I went out for a drive.
Two things immediately apparent. The boominess that Nigel had has all but gone. Secondly according to a DB app on my iphone, its definitely quieter.
Difficult to do proper apples to apples test, but I would say 3-4db reduction.
Back to work. Need to get this job done!

Adam.

You should protect your investment with these.

I may also have some resistors laying about.

New disks and calipars today.

The left one was easy going.

The right one needs some special work on it, but a solid 20mm˛ steel helped a little bit:

All went fine with the hub then.

Time to have a BBC

So far. A little more steering stop adjustment. Way overdue. More sound deadener.

Installed Badger Seat covers today. Amazing craftsmanship.

Great experience:
Called Badger for first time in my life. Chris answered in 3 rings. Sent seats within 3 weeks ahead of schedule ( he had to make because I wanted custom all Black not the grey and black).

Amazing experience and product.
