Sonoros - not useless at all! Ti is cool as hell - really neat that you are using it. I just hope you don't cover it up with a mat. But I have to ask - what the price tag on those 2 pieces was? A ti bulkhead would be truly awesome but it would probably cost the price of a running import.

Hey Don,

These were from the same suppliers for our hot airframes. Can't say how much each floor panel would cost as I cut these from 24x32 sheet stock at ~$350 a sheet. You can probably do the math. This is for raw materials. It doesn't count the cost of cutting, sanding, drilling, and finishing the plates.

I guess I say it's useless because nobody would pay the money to have these made. For all normal applications, aluminum is fine.

A titanium bulkhead would be cool but it would have to be in CP. Bending this material will result in snapping it in half (as I found out at Huffs years ago)

Head Gasket is being installed tomorrow. The truck was not blowing white smoke nor was the antifreeze fluid mixing with the oil. However, the cooling system had an enormous amount of pressure. I also had a slight oil leak from the middle of the engine block.

That would be pretty awesome! Making such a thing would involve a lot of engineering but it would be pretty sweet...

There isn't all that much to a bulkhead. If done out of fiberglass or Carbon you could integrate the lower dash/vent/heating duct.
