added some lights to the front bar and moved the Vision Cannons up to the roof, also move the seat heater switches from the sides of the tuffy console to the top beside the radio..
reconverted to camp mode via removal of the rear seat and strapped down the Fridge. (need to move that to the other side soon i think)
Flat Link installed... Need to switch out the roller for a Hawse next.

side not the options to get lights on the roof are limited.. basically zip ties.. without doing some serious work on the A-pillar roll cage hoops i did not see an option.

Cut the intermediate pipe to get the downpipe and the rear exaust into a proper line.
The stainless pipe had to be reduced of about 105mm (about 4").

Shoddy pictures...but finished hooking up a secondary compressor to use for airing up tires (and as a back up to my lockers compressor). Plumbed a line from underneath the passenger seatbox through the top so I don't have to lift the seat bottom or lid...just plug in my air line and I'm ready to fill.

Picked up Exmoor trim set from the city. Three trains and a bus later I made it home.

Turned this many miles and it decided to start leaking from a swivel again. Lame.

Got the lump in place!

The welded intermediate exaust pipe:

The new shaft seal went into place without complications.
But the transfer didn't!
So we had to pull out some more stuff off out of the seatbox. It took about 2 hours.

After this surgery the transfer went into it's correct position just in a second.
Well, it's very narrow with the supporting crossmember in place, a big pump to one side and the inside box on top.

Filled up the ATF and were ready to flush the automatic gearbox ...

... but the batteries were down!

So we lighted up the cole to get the spare ripps ready.

I feel like a slacker. Everyone else is rebuilding everything and I just slapped in a head unit and some 6x9 speakers. Monday I put in a new starter and fuel pump and give it an oil change and new air filter. Should probably slap on a new diesel filter while I am in there. Also installed: an air compressor with 5 horns that play La Cucaracha.

I also finally got the correct mudflap for the diesel exhaust with the cut out to replace the one that has a giant hole melted in it to find it was riveted on to the bracket crooked. As much as that will bother me until it inevitably falls off, it's a commentary piece on Land Rover engineering, so I think I am going to leave it.

Tearing into the 200TDi this weekend. Head gasket refresh is my main goal, but replacing gaskets and seals as I go. Installing the new glows plugs, correct Defender 200TDi dipstick, new oil cooler line, fix a few exhaust rattles and general inspection.

edit: Props to the RoversNorth crew for getting all my orders sorted and shipped over the past few weeks.

She is in Love...A good woman knows Exmoor and Land Rover and once she saw it on the box it was all over for her...Did she offer to help install them?
