I'm in the process of getting everything hooked up now. Trying to sort out the power steering hoses now, then need to figure out from my pictures which wire goes where on the coil. Then need to sort out the wiring changes needed from the original alternator to the RRC alternator.

So far today:

Steering wheel installed.
Fuel lines done
Heater hoses done
Carb installed properly
throttle cable hooked up and adjusted.
wiring ran to coil
oil pressure sender installed
Pressure hose power steering hooked up, return line needs some fiddling about to make it work.

oh and i need to figure out where in the &*^^%$&#* my wife put the damn alternator bracket!

Yup just like they slide the column straight over.

Yes it is, I went down 2 inches in diameter. It works out a bit better with the thicker seats.

Now I need to find a Land Rover emblem to go over the mountey logo on the wheel for the nice finishing touch

Does it eventually turn brown or green? That would be neat if it got a cool patina.

Way better looking than the crappy antique plate Arkansas let me have. But it was only $7 for registration and it never expires.

Does the Exmoor matt make a bike difference in noise levels? I want one.

I keep hearing this from people. I bought a Wright Offroad matt years ago and I don't think it made a discernable difference. It looks pretty much the same as yours, except it's gray.

Then again, yours is a V8 and mine's a 200tdi, so I'm fighting a losing battle. I used Al's HNR this summer very liberally all over pretty much the whole floor as well as both sides of the bulkhead, and if anything the truck seems noisier after I got it all back together. That's probably a combination of getting used to driving the Volvo more while the 110 was apart, and the new roll cage making more noise at speed. At this point I've basically decided it's a losing battle trying to get my truck quieter, and I should just continue to carry ear plugs.

I put in some new front door seals. I already upgraded to the new style lower seals front and rear. I have my strikers adjusted all the way out and you still really have to put some force into shutting the door.

FYI I got them through our dealership and they had them in stock in the NJ warehouse. The rear door seals are backordered at the moment.

I have the same problem with one of my doors, not wanting to close. I'm assuming the hinges are bad.
