Mary must be reading our blog or something. I, too, am happy to report that Mary called several times yesterday and is expediting delivery of my purchases. The power of the angry complaing consumer has levied a little pressure it would seem!

I still will never buy a SG product. EVER. This is the third yearly thread about how truly awful their customer service is.

THey do have some nice products though. the 3-link is great.. every 90 should have it...lol Bumpers are not bad and I wish they still made the SG III springs. they were very flexy. they stopped producing them.. Just dont order from them in a hurry. It takes a while some times.

As for rims, Like Dave said, I like Trek Outfitters too. She was great there and gave a discount after I begged..lol

Let us know if it happens.

The customer service department sometimes is like the Motel 6 radio ad. "Sorry, I'm only authorized to apologize."

I love my SG bumper that was on my '94. I love it so much, I will be putting into the '97 very soon. The '97 also has a set of their HD step sliders which I had never seen first hand before. I gotta say, I am in love with them.

Chris, could you post a photo of the step sliders? They don't have a picture of them on their web site.

Thanks.

I will not provide SG with another opportunity to disappoint me. Once was more than enough.

What was your experience with LR Wilmington DE that customer service was so bad?

Chris-

How are they attached? Did you have to weld them on the frame? Pix?

Thanks

Your the parts manager there , right ??

Overall I am pleased with the service they provided me. They installed a trans and clutch.

The day I posted I was really pissed because I had left messages with them, and did not get a call back.

I was also aggravated that it that it took so long, and the $95/hr is rediculous.

My truck has always been to the dealership for services (by the PO), and I felt it was the best option to use them for the work. I have every receipt for the entire history of the truck, and wanted to be sure that the trans was properly installed + documented.

I just ordered a set of black steel rims from Trek outfitters they were called the series 87's. I got 16x10's with plenty of backspacing to clear my 33 x 12.5 truxus mud terrains.
http://www.trekoutfitters.com/extra/...r/st_wheel.htm

I just posted a picture in the small build up section with my d90 with the rims on. They did take a while to come but tina who i spoke to was excellent on being upfront and honest about how long it would take and they showed up sooner than she said.

Tina rocks. I have had two sets of her wheels. The latter set was a custom backspacing which she did for the same price. On the delivery she is at the mercy of her manufacturer. Good pick, they hold a bead remarkably well.
