If you look around at some stuff that you need you will find that the timing housing and cover and flywheel housing are expensive--new. How much for a ladder frame? I'm just saying check before you leap.

it would be a good deal for someone looking to rebuild an existing motor with a cracked block. as a launching point for a build and buying all the bits to bolt on to it, not so much.
