what color is this 110 ?

I have a 110 here where the owner wants me to swap out his standard hood for a spare mount hood. I have several of those but needs to be painted to match. My painter gave me a price but wants me to supply the paint code and simply drop the bonnet with him to be painted.
I went back and the old links I had saved to paint swatches on the web seem to now be bad links.
Hoping someone here can identify the color. I have a Savarine white D1 as well as the pictured old unloved Alpine white lwb parts truck (turns out Savarin and Alpine are the same paint code btw).
The truck is an 80's truck but has obviously been re-sprayed after the double cab job was done.

Suggested that and that's not happening. Customer is ambivalent-was considering painting it black but talked him out of that. Just want to get it close as possible so guesses are solicited. Chawton is a much brighter white, this has a grey/blue tint. Hard to see in the picture but its not as "white" as the alpine truck.

Doug,

My guess would be LRC354. I have three late 80s-1990 110s that are all painted LRC354.

Nigel kept changing the names of that color, but they are all the same paint code. Ivory, Chamonix, or Davos White. All the same. Go figure.
It is a soft white. Must have been very popular.

Thanks Ken. Yours is arguably the most educated guess I could hope for.
As always you rule.

Why not just install the bonnet mounted spare kit and be done with it?

I have 4 spare mount bonnets leaning against a wall so defiling this one didn't make much sense, to me.

Makes sense.

We've got a few perfect un-drilled bonnets as well - nice to keep them that way.

Fortunately white is about the easiest paint to match as long as the color temperature is right - go get it scanned

Getting it matched should be free if you are buying the paint. Only pain is driving out of your way a bit and having to take in the hood.

For me i would just get it matched then you do not have to worry about the customer being disappointed or it reflecting upon you when they mention who did the work and fail to mention that they said just put any old white on it.

Doug, where in VA would you go for a paint match? I have a French Rover shop DIY paint job on my truck that I gotta match.

Damn Aussies, you always think everything is about you ! I know you can tell from the front plate that its not from Oz.

Naw man, this truck was one that Green Mountain/Derek Chase imported and sold to a fellow here in Virginia years ago who brings it to me when the shop in Charlottesville gets it wrong. They did the timing belt and it was off by 2 teeth, smoking like a train, and had rounded off the heads of the injection pump pulley bolts. He also had us rebuild the front doors with new tracks, window regulators door handles etc.

nope, all the same and the only paint work done was the bonnet. The rest of the truck is filthy though, ie I only wiped off the wing tops to check for color match.

I'm 250 miles from you down in Central Virginia so can't really offer a suggestion in the DC area.
I'm sure others can offer suggestions.

My go-to's are the Sherwin-Williams Automotive and PPG in Merrifield, VA. I've never had either do a color match, so call ahead first.

I don't know if any other actual automotive finish shops exist closeby to DC.
