What color blue is this?

Anyone have any idea what this color is called, I'm not sure of the year also if that makes a difference?

Cairns blue was sold in the US on the RR sport. I would seek one out before painting. It is much more shiny metallic in person than that photo shows. I am not saying it is ugly, but it was not very popular.

Yeah, it was on Freelanders too. I like the color, but I don't know how it would look on a Defender. I have seen pics of it on the LR3 in the UK but for some reason they have never offered it here in the states on the LR3.

those are very good points,

I tell you no matter what website you look at...it just never looks the same on any two computer monitors, so you can get a very real feel for the actual color...what a pain in the #$%^
