Could also be your idler valve. For the engine to run you need air, spark and gas. I assume that coil/wires/dizzy are new/replaced/ok. You could check for air. When you have the problem, does everything work if you unplug your MAF? If so, this rules out a sensor issue. Clean air filter?

So, the latest update. Took it to a shop and they couldnt figure it out. Thought it was computer related told me to take it to LR. Took it to the dealer. 300 dollars later he replaced the rotor and said it ran fine. Ran fine at first until I got home, turned it off. Next time I cranked it, it fires and catches and then immediately stalls if I'm not on the gas pedal. The only way to keep it running now is by keeping my foot on the accelerator.

It's got spark, fuel and air (tried the MAF sensor and it's not that). It's got a clean filter, new dist cap, new rotor, new wires and plugs. Is it the computer??
