If you have time, go take a welding class...practice, practice and practice, then do it yourself.

Trevor isn't too far away. Takes me about 2 hours to get there. You can always AAA it up there and drive it back.

Hi guys! Thanks for the recommendations!
We're wrapping up our work here on Friday, then we're heading to Zanzibar, Ngorogoro, Manyara, Serengetti on safari starting Monday and plan to open the shop on April 14th.
Another option is that we could meet at my parent's shop just north of Baltimore- Treasured Motorcars. I come down that way about twice a month and it's easy enough to bring the trailer along! It may save you an additional 80 miles each way to my place, if you can't find anything more convienent

Thanks for the response Trevor. I am going to pull it apart sometime in April and see just how bad it is. May try to get all the prep work done and then tow it up to you if I can't find a local guy I trust.

Thanks.

Sooo....

RDS is out of rear crossmembers w/ extensions for about 5 weeks and RN evidently doesn't stock them anymore according to their website. Additionally, Paddocks said they would refund my money about 2 weeks ago and have yet to do that. I am hating this project already and I don't even have the parts yet!

I would call Gary Landis. Search this site for info. He's just north of DC.

they charge $100/hour. But if you brought it there all tacked together they could seam it up for you pretty cheap.

Sorry this is not productive but as I was reading this thread I remembered my trailer has a purdy galvanized rear cross member. How ironic is that. lol.

Hey,

As Charles mentioned - before you do anything you should get an opinion from Gary Landes. I believe he saved my truck. Here is another thread (other then the one that Charles listed) with some more pictures. See if your truck looks like mine did.......Flagg

My HOA has nazi restrictions which means it's stored in an undisclosed location in Fairfax. Bit it has a lock-n-roll so you are going to have trouble
