Weird Indicator Fault

On my ex-mod 90 my indicators/turn signals are behaving strangely.

The front right signal and repeater aren't working at all.

So when turning right, only the rear right signals flash. If I have the sidelights illuminated then the right sidelight flashes too (which is odd but suggests a bad earth I think).

When turning left, the two rear (right AND left) and front left signal and repeater flash.

I've checked the front two earthing points inside the wing and they look ok - no corrosion of dirt build up.

Tried replacing the flasher unit.

Also tested the repeater bulbs.

One of the rear fogs is missing a bulb but didn't think they'd be on the same circuit.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Encountered a similar problem, but not exactly the same on a 1984 110.
To fix it had to replace the fuse box and hazard warning switch and hazard flasher.

Do you know what the exact cause of the problem was?

Before you do anything else, make sure all bulbs work and are secure in their sockets

All the bulbs except one of the rear fog lights work but I bridged the circuit there.

What's also odd is that I was driving the other day and the indicators started working normally again. Then on my next trip they were back to their old tricks.

Disconnect your hazard switch, clean contacts on switch and harness, reconnect then try again

Check all the ground connections first. Check the integrity of all the bullet connectors by pulling on all the wires. They come loose.

Great. I'll try both hazards and connectors.
