Weight of 90 tub?

For those who have had the dubious honor of being able to take off the tub on their 90, about how much does one weigh complete?

When speaking of the tub, I mean the whole spiel including the middle bulkhead, along with the tub supports.

It's way more cumbersome than heavy. One person would have a hard time grappling it and two people can easily shift it around

If I can pick one up, it's no 100 lbs. I'd say 60 or 70.

Probably right. I was adding in for the NAS roll cage crap in and under the tub.

The answer to that would be no...and I am guessing that if he is pulling the tub then answer will remain no for some time because he is heading down the path of swapping the bulkhead. Oh well, it was nice knowing Ed!

haha! You guys with garages and huge homes crack me up. I think you forget that I have been living in an apartment and working on my truck in my parking lot. I have not yet fixed the fuel tank....

but...

The Defender is finally getting a real garage this weekend. A place where I can do some real work, and not what I can squeeze into a half day at Huff's place.

It will be getting the fuel tank fixed, a new galvy bulkhead, replacement rear quarters, straightening the roof and tub sides, new galvanized rear cappings, new front left wing, new front left headlight panel, fixing the weird bump on the bonnet, some new fasteners, etc.

Also planning on taking this opportunity to clean and repaint the truck. Planning on checking the frame for rust and doing some treatment/painting where necessary.

Would also like to degrease and clean the engine as it needs it badly.

Also have new seals and bearings to put into the front and rear.

Jeff - love those traybacks myself, but not going there with my truck. I would love to fab up an exocage though...
