Damn, I'm out of the loop! Was the damage from the water hole too much? Jesus I feel bad egging you on now

Ok, so what did you stuff in there? Let me guess - diesel right?

I ordered 2 bearings, and will attempt to press out the old. I have a number of little projects going on mine - waterpump/tensioners/belts/viscous fan clutch and the master cylinder is leaking so I got a seal kit.

But with it all open like that, I am dying to relocate my transmission cooler and go with electric fans. Will be searching the board for info on what/where a '97 D90 does for a tranny cooler.

Just wanted to post what I ended up doing. I was quoted $250 for a replacement tensioner, and $65 for the bearing. I got two bearings and a local shop replaced them both for $38, for a total damage of about $170.

I still can't get over some of the insane LR pricing...
