Warn M8000 Question

I just picked up a Warn M8000 winch. Though the previous owner bought it 7 years ago it was still sealed in the box. I installed it today but there are two black caps about 1" in diameter and I did not notice anywhere in the paperwork what they are for, though I may have missed it. I don't have a picture but I thought someone might know where they go.

I bought an M8000 years ago from 4 wheel parts. What kind of caps ? I have mine off and about to install it on Trey's 110. Post a pic of these caps

Should be able to post a picture tomorrow. They are black plastic, 1/2" deep.

Are they extras to cover where the wire attaches to the nut on the winch or solonoid..like a battery terminal cap?

I think those caps cover the bolt heads on the fairlead for a cleaner appearance. I could be wrong, but mine had those.

I am sure that is correct. It is not a roller fairlead so the two bolts that mount it are the only thing I could come up with. I just wanted to be sure I was not missing something more important that they could have been for. Could not get a picture today though.
