Yes, I've used that sensor for years. I have not personally used it in parallel with an EFI ECU though as I have a diesel.

Great! This is my solution!

Ok, one more question...what is the YBE100540G? When my Parts Mgr types it in the System says it is not defined for our market, but without the G at the end it is available through LRNA...

G is just to say it is a genuine part instead of aftermarket. It is the speed transducer used on all Disco 1s. Junkyard from a dead Disco is the cheapest.

Ok, I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't ordering a different part. Land Rover uses different suffix's when it is a updated part etc. I have never seen G used, so I was concerned what it may mean.
