vin number confirmation

Can anyone confirm that this VIN no is for a 1984 / 85 LHD 110 4 door Station Wagon with a 5 speed box and 4 cyl petrol engine SALLDHMH8BA. That is what I figure it to be unless anyone has more info.

Thanks for the replies the 2.25 petrol is no problem I can always put a TDI in, just wanted to make sure I had all my ducks in a row before I bought it.

And if it's a 2.25, then the 200Tdi will drop straight in (same engine mounts and gearbox bellhousing)

Spoke to the people at the Heritage Motor Center at Gaydon and for 8 UK pounds will email me the exact build date on Monday. This by the way is the same Rover I asked about regarding the internal roll cage.

Just had an email from the Heritage Centre and the build date was June 21/24 1985, 8 pounds well spent in my opinion
