Velocity stacks

Question. Why do I need the velocity stacks on the intake plenum? I know ECR sells shortened ones for increased performance so what would happen if i took them out all together? I'm sure there is a good reason I'm just curious as to what it is.

I think you would overheat and burn the pistons. Not a good setup.

Some weird shit happens when you remove the velocity stacks.
Like sometimes you have to plug the PCV to get it to idle.

Don't fuck with it.
