VDO Vision Series Fuel Gauge

My original fuel gauge was acting strange. The needle kept moving all over before you reached half tank.
So I replaced it with the VDO Vision Series thinking that it would fix the problem. Now the needle moves back and forth a lot more than before.

Does that mean I need to replace the sender in the fuel tank?
If so, what VDO sender should I get for a NAS 110?
Is it a lot of work to replace the sender?

Any help would greatly appreciated.

When you decide which gauge you don't need, let me know, I'm collecting VDO's for the 109 project.

I have a VDO clock for you. I'll bring it to Moab. I know you want it. I also have an oil pressure guage, but I can't decide if I want to use it in the Range Rover.

A guage and sender must be a match set.
A Rover sending unit with a VDO gauge won't mix in most cases.
