VDO lights

I'm trying to figure out how the hell to get the vision vdo lights out of the gauges to put the green condom looking thing on them? I'm assuming the green matches, not the clear.

Thumbs up

Tom,

Are you refering to new VDO gauges? Went I installed mine I just removed the light housing (black piece) and swapped in a green light to match the stock lights.

Here is my write-up...

Thanks,
I just can't figure out how to get the light out to put the green on the bulb. Is there a trick to getting the light fixture out?

The tach was, but the rest won't budge. So I either lost my Kung Fu Grip or there is more to it

If you have the new Visions with the two wires coming out of the black buld holder it is a force fit. I used a knife to gently pry and get them started out.
