V8 vs TDI bellhousing difference

Does someone have access to both or have one out of vehicle that can measure circumference at both ends, as well as length for me?

I really want to get a bell housing sound blanket from noise killer uk, but I have a v8 bellhousing and they only offer tdi. I'm curious how diff they are and if a tdi can fit well enough to work.

For one thing the starters are on opposite sides, if that makes a difference. But I think the actual bellhousing size is roughly the same.

Stumpy or Lt77/R380 long ? don't those sound blankets just wire on? the ones I saw yonks ago where just a square wired on, doesn't summit do something of the same? or something on the lines of the clutch housing blankets that tractor pullers use

Looks like they are just selling you a half sheet of mat. You have to make it fit. It's basically the same stuff as Dynapad, seems like.

No, it's lead sheet wrapped in special cloth. Not abything like dynamat.

Also the summit blankets are for safety in event of fragmentation. The sound killer is acoustic control.
