V8 NAS a/c system into 200 tdi rhd???

So, fellas I have the opportunity to acquire an a/c system from a 1995 NAS D90. Can this be fitted to a RHD 200 tdi 110 somewhat easily? Basically is it worth getting this one for a cheap price or should I just get a new system due to the complexity of fitting the old one? I will be paying a shop to do the install.

Thanks

I'll be doing this in the spring, but I haven't gotten into the specfics yet. I think the two biggest issues are mounting the compressor and the idler for the belt. Make sure you get the v-belt compressor, and that the engine has the double pulley to run it. There are other posts that indicate there is a UK company that makes a bracket to mount the V8 compressor to 200TDI (M&D maybe?), but it doesn't look too hard to fab something. I think the rest will go in fairly easy but not sure about wiring either.

I don't think you would be able to use any of the interior ductwork or maybe even the evaporator unit as your Rover is rhd.

I would think that the major issue would be that the AC is from a NAS LHD and you are going to try and fit it to a rhd

Todd-everything they said. If your plan was to go lhd most of the system would work.

I have the a/c system. If anyone is interested. It is not complete. It has under dash ducting, evaporator, compressor and bracket, as well as the pulley and two additional pulleys that came with the new system, condensor, and electrical wiring. I can email pics.
Does not have dryer and a/c lines.
Worked when taken out of 1995 NAS 90. drain tube leaked into cab.
Offers??
