V-8 engine bracket and placement

Has anybody done a diesel to V-8 engine replacement that has welded on the brackets for the V-8? on a 110. I have a 110 frame that had the engine brackets cut off. I think they were for a 300 Tdi but not sure. I am planning on putting in a V-8 so would need new brackets and locations. Thanks

fwiw I usually buy new brackets from RN. They special order them and takes about a week but cheap @ $20 ea or so. For me it seems faster, better, cheaper, than me dealing with cut up stuff and the end result is better.

Thanks Guys. I do have a bud that has a V-8 110 that I can look at but was thinking it would be easier to get the measurements off a bare frame. I was hoping that somebody would have a template. I guess I will just need the brackets then. I found a place that will hot dip the frame as soon as I get it sand blasted. I will let everybody know how that goes.

See how the back of the bracket runs parallel with the back of the spring perch. That is how to line it up. As far as using a used bracket, guess it really just depends who cut the bracket off. I never have any probems reusing them.

Jim, Do you have some of the used ones for sale? I want to get the frame blasted and then galvanize it but want to make sure the brackets are installed prior. Thanks
