Upgrading MOD lights?

Hi all,

I am wanting to upgrade my MOD lights (screw in kind) and not sure how easy or possible this is. I am not really wanting to make holes for lights bigger if possible. Any help, part numbers for kits, or ideas is extremely appreciated.

Thanks AJ

Get any euro style light kit. ROW. Comes with all front and rear housings, pigtails, and lenses.

Unscrew mod lenses. Unscrew three little brass screws. Splice new wires, screw in housings and lenses.
Done.

I would consider civilian light finishers (surrounds) as well. Look at my mod 110 build. Thinks I posted the civ lights switch.

Just keep in mind the regular old style civilian lights are complete and utter crap. They are not water tight and break if you look at them.

If you go that direction, get LEDs. There are various options...

If you want to pull the MOD lights, size wise the NAS is the way to go. Whether you go normal bulb or LED is your choice.
I'm biased to LEDs.

I did this the other day, just get the kit from rovahfarm, all the holes line up, you can splice them or connect the Bullets where the MOD lights were.

AJ, I am actually doing this update to my ex-Mod now. I found a set of RDX LED's from a vendor called Bolt on Bits. All the lights came with s/s hardware and all of the fittings and connectors. The diameter of the lens look like they will drop into the military style shield's. If you wants some more information let me know.

Just be sure if you order the plastic surrounds you get the ROW version. Ask me how I know the NAS version has holes that don't line up
