Yeah I replaced the ones SHP put on. They weren't aligned properly and the rear door was stuck shut, so when we took the doors off to align them properly I threw these on instead. They are so much better and smoother.

These look awesome, but $1000 for hinges is a bit much

Subscribed....I am currently hinge shopping, as well.

I "think" I've narrowed it down to either Croytec or Offroad Monkeys....and sometimes drawn to the Optimil...

Can any of the upgraded hinges be bolted on the soft top doors without cutting the capping?

They Fd me on some parts for my porsche 964. Took the money and never delivered the parts. Be advised that super tweakers should be avoided.

Josh
I hear they have a tendency to warp the panels. Any issues?

Any updates?

I think it is time for me to get some new hinges. Tired of the rust bleeding. Even with the stainless hardware they don't look great.

Croytec look nice but $500 is way steep and long term durability concerns me because, aftermarket. I'll be really mad if $500 hinges fail me.

OEM $200 + paint/powder coat

I have heard the Bearmach are really good at $80

I think I am just going to have them powder coated satin black to start. My buddy said he can do them for $60. If I don't like it I will have them painted body color.

I am really digging how this truck looks with black hinges

Yes, I have those. I put those on several years back and am pretty happy with them. They haven't sagged or discolored, but that's down here in Central Texas. The only problem I've had so far is one of the screws backed out, but I can't really blame the hinges for that, just the crap Britpart doors they're on.
