Upgrade interior lighting

The dome light in my '97 is practically nonexistent and it is also nearly impossible to see behind the rear seats. I have been researching how to fix the issues- saw 2 options, any other/better ways to solve the problem?
Replace the current bulb with 4410-x9 Festoon 6 LED from www.superbrightleds.com
It isn't entirely clear that that is the correct bulb- is it and does it just plug into the existing bulbs place?

http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...on_4410-x9.htm

#2 was to buy a battery operated LED dome light and Zip tie it to the roll bar behind the front seats
Thoughts?

My Disco's a different application and I imagine your dome light is slightly different but a Rover's a Rover so it likely has similar properties. I have these in my Disco's Front/Rear dome:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o04_s00_i00

Dirt cheap, easy to instal, and bright as hell.

Me too...does it look like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Discovery-Se...sories&vxp=mtr

If so...the amazon setup works. Bright enough that my fiancee is now annoyed with how bright it is when the doors open.

I did the superbrightleds.com in the front/back of the 110, made a huge difference...it isn't cheap, but is worth it.

I'd look to add some led strips wired tied to the roll cage and wired to that feeble excuse for a light.
