Turbocharger bust?

Evening all, driving on the autobahn today and a sudden loss of power, the acceleration dropped off, the beast slowed down and it could only chug along. There was a quite obvious whistling when I tried to accelerate with absolutely no response in power.
I figure the turbo's gone, any advice would be most welcome.
Thanks in advance.

Also check for loose hose clamps.... I've had hoses come off completely, and I've had hoses only come off over a certain psi.

If you didnt cause a 50 car pileup from smoke, it's a hose

loose pipe

It was a pipe connected to the forward radiator area that popped off, spraying oil everywhere.
Fixed now, didn't cost a penny ;-)
thanks all!

Eh it's not bad really. When I took my charge air pipe off my car to clean it, it was coated in a nice film. That was 35k ago and considered "normal". Nothing to worry about really
