Turbo Hose

Just wondering if anyone can tell me where the clamp on the lower intercooler hose attaches. Am I missing a bracket or does it just bolt to the inner fender/wheel well?

Thanks
Brett

I will look at mine tomorrow but I think it is right where your clamp is... The hole is through the wheel well..

Mine is right where your pic shows yours and I drilled a hole in the inner wing and bolted it on. Mine has a spacer behind it to keep stuff in line..

Alright, thanks Randy. An easy fix for a change.

Clamp

The mounting hole with this originally seems to be one of LR famous rivnut type affairs. A hole is drilled in the part, a nut plate is pressed in, in this case a panel and the idea is you bolt through from the other side.

I'm in the process of doing over a few things on the truck and working in this area right now. Why in tarnation LR bolted into the fender well instead of from the fender well into the engine bay on all their stuff I will never understand. Each mounting fastner for both front fender wells either broke off or stripped by the time they were half way out.

While on the subject of engine plumbing- does anyone know if there is an off the shelf source for steel braided lines for the Oil Cooler system on a 300 Tdi?
