Tuffy Box Paint

So I jsut got a tuffy box. It is brand new never opened. Anyway I opened the box and noticed two drips of paint down one side. Is this par for the course or should I send it back? I know I am a bit anal but it was 300 bucks.

Here is a pic

I don't think I would sweat that at all. It is on the side and with it between the seats I am doubting anyone will ever even notice it.

I don't think its a paint drip, I think its contamination under the powder coat, and that it will fail after being even slightly scratched. You'll be left with two large blemishes on your nice new tuffy that will annoy you to no end. They should replace it at their expense and send a call tag for the defective box.

I had to deal with their customer service on some replacement parts, and they were very helpful.

Mine was defective too, but I didn't notice it until I had already drilled 2 holes inside it. It looks like rust under the powdercoat on one side, the coating is sort of bubbled up. I was really pissed, but I don't think they'll take it back now that I have already drilled it, so I am just going to have it refinished I guess.

I have had great service from them. Call for replacement. It looks more like it was scratched and repainted.
