Transmission oil cooler (LT77 or R380)

Can you just swap the bits on the outside to add or remove a cooler from an LT77 or an R380 or are the insides different too.

hmmm. I purchased an R380 that had the tranny cooler plate with an in and out line and I was told with that plate you can run a tranny cooler, just plum it in. So me thinks you can.
