transmission mount

What a joy this little project has become...

How in the world am I supposed to get the passenger side transmission mount off? I dug out about 4 pounds of dirt from inside the nook where the bolt is but I can't get a wrench in there to turn. Part of this is because of the dirt. Part of this is because of the skid plate. Part of this is because of the cat.

Is it best to remove the plate on the transmission side with the four screws and take the mount off that way? The problem there is the mount is so disfigured I can't get a wrench on there without cutting the old mount.

The other option is maybe removing the passenger side foot well and trying to access it from there.

The only positive so far is cleaning out a bunch of the dirt that is hiding under there.

Jimmy- Bastard is a good way of describing this.
