Transmission brake assembly

This is on a D2, I don't know if it's the same set up on a Defender, but just in case here it goes. My hand brake was seizing because lack of use, I took it apart and when removing all parts inside drum I kind of lost the detail on how the lever goes with the right shoe. There are 3 washers that goes on the pivot that keep both parts together, 2 bellevilles and 1 flat washer, anyone know the sequence and where those washers go ?

Cheers

Sorry I don't know the sequence, but in the last three years I have changed 2 hand brake cables on DII's. It seems that on some years the engine earth cable comes loose, leaving the H/B cable the only path to earth. The inner welds itself to the outer so check yours.

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

I found this also but this is for a Defender hand brake. There is one for the Discovery but you can't figure out the sequence of washers from the sketch.
