Diesel this point I've got enough into that truck (and enjoy it's quirks) that I want to follow that path. The Defenders are sorely tempting but I'm 99% sure I'm sticking with Coyote.

There's a thread on discoweb ( that is currently discussing the inability of the later LT230s to fit onto early auto boxes (the thread is specifically referring to D2 xfer cases fitting onto earlier RRCs). So just to revist post #1 of this thread (and to avoid considerable stomping of feet in the future): is there a spud shaft length issue in fitting a D2 LT230 onto a 300tdi R380?
