If you are going to regear, then it becomes especially appealing. That was the kicker for me (I am going to have a toyota rear here pretty soon).
4.10 gears on my front Rover diff was $800 (parts and labor). A used toyota 4.10 diff I got for free. Not to mention the strength of the 3rd and the shafts, plus a warranty.
For the front, I got the Longtracks while Keith was still selling them. At this point, with those being off the market I think, it also probably makes sense to go Toyota in the front. I'm not doing that mainly because I got the Longtracks for $660 and I already had a Rover diff set up with an ARB that I wanted to keep.
