Towing your D-90

I live in Texas and might have to move to Los Angeles. Has anyone ever had their D-90 towed/shipped in the continental US? If so how much did it cost you and who do you suggest? I have 70K on the ODO right now and I suppose I could always drive if this is not a cheap way to do it. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Tom

shipping ain't cheap. The best company, reliable and safe, is Dependable Auto Shippers. They have a website
www.dasautoshippers.com
I shipped a defender from CA to NY a year ago, $1100. My friend just shipped a series II, $1000; however, they originally quoted him $1500. I guess they got slow so the price went down. If I were you I would just drive it.

Thanks Dave. I checked out their website and your quotes are about the same as what they are giving me. I should probably just drive it, but I am 6'5" so it might be easier on the old legs if I get it shipped. Anyway, thanks for the information...it is useful
