Tithonus sun roof

Has anyone done this? If so post up your results! Any ideas on how I should go about it? It already has the shape where it would go.

They made a sunroof for the military trucks that was a metal panel instead of glass. One of those would be cool.
That said most all defender sunroofs I have had/seen have leaked.
