Tithonus Roll cage

Hey all. I did a search and didn't quite find the answer. Read the "So how effective is the SD Roll Cage?" to no avail.

Looking to put a full rollcage on my 86 tithonus. Having trouble figuring out which one is correct for fit and the hardware needed. Any help pointing in the right direction would be great.
Thanks

What happened to the SD full roll cage that was fitted to your truck during the Tith refurb process?

Here is a Wolf cage, it looks survivable.

Great question. Bought it without one. It did have a metal hard top, not the FG ones also. Just getting into the MOD and Tithonus history and what not.
Did they come out of the program with an internal rollcage and a fiberglass top?

Yes they were fitted with an external/internal beast of a cage and will only work with a soft top or the really tall goofy gel top that most ditch for a soft top. They also had some bracing fitted around the tub as well. There may be a Tith cage or two floating around.

Thanks for the replies.

So does that mean there are no prefab ones available? Do the Wolf or SD cages fit the Tihonus ones or do I need to get one custom made?
Do both those companies have branches in the US? Sorry for all the questions.

Contact Safari HP. They had a tube plastic top in their shop. Wonder if they removed the cage from it as well.

Brian,

The Tithonus roll cage mounts as follows:

The main roll cage bar mounts in (2) two different places; At the rear bulkhead (Pics 1 and 2) and through the floor panel to the outriggers (Pics 3 to 6).

At the front it uses a bracket that's attached to the bulkhead (Pic 7).

They do not have the A pillar support like the NAS or SD/P&P (Pic 8)

The rear hoop is a joke... It mounts with two bolts to the capping.

Minor hijacking for a question here. I'm about to install a roll hoop, really just for seatbelt mounting, no illusions of structural integrity.

But this corner piece that rivets in along the bulkhead and floor, when tucked in far enough to rivet to the outer edge is blocked by the top lip. It's hard to tell jn your image if it clears the curve of the top edge of the tub

This one's a bit abstract but it's the view from the front and middle of the truck, showing where the plate resides when it's flush with the bulkhead AND clears the upper lip. You can see how far it is from the putter edge.

You probably will need to cut it.

I had to cut mine.

I left my external drive in the office and cannot show you mine.

But this is pretty much the same.
