Tires sizes per lift ratio

Hello all, this is probably a no brainer to you, but im new and would be nice information to have. What is the largest size tire that can be fit without any trimming or other body altercations to a Defender 90 with various sizes of lift to it?

example:
1 inch lift / 28xwhatever inch tire
2 inch lift / 34xwhatever inch tire

Thanks!

I have a 3" lift with 35" MTRs that only measure about 34.5" and they do not rub. I think you can fit 33's stock but aftermarket rims with a 4" backspacing make them fit better since they push the tires out a bit.

Well, it really depends on the lift. A "normal" spring lift should have no affect on tire clearance since axle travel is controlled by the bump stops and the shock. Most spring lifts, do however, limit up travel due to heavy springs.

Stock will fit 285/75/16 (33x11.5) or so without trimming if you have the right backspacing. Taller will hit on top and on the flares if you can reach the bump stops.

Made it further than half of the other guys, but the Hammers won.

Probably stupid question, but sarcasm is sometimes hard to read. You know I was kidding right? I don't want you to put 37's on a 2 in lift and think there is no trimming! You can run everything that I posted but you have to trim a good amount. With very little trimming the real chart is more like:

1in lift 33's
3in lift 35's

Cheers
