Tire Size

Will 285/75 tires fit a stock heidht D90 without clearance issues?

Yes... very minimal rubbing under full stuffing in the wheel well though.

I am running 285 MTR with ome spring. I don't know that age of the spring as they came on the vehicle but I do get contact with the control arms at full lock on both sides. Not that big a deal but I scares the people that have borrowed the defender.

Nigel, a simple 17mm (or 19mm?) open wrench can helo you out...there's a bolt that is on the front side of the swivel housing that protrudes to hit the axle housing...make it protrude more so that the turning radius will lessen and the tires won't rub - both sides need change...
