Thule 953 and Ribbed Roof?

Anyone know if Thule bars will fit over a ribbed roof with the 953 (11") feet?

Having used those Thule's on my D1 and now a ribbed roof D90 I would be shocked if they don't clear.

Guess its time to wade through the snow and get the Thules from the barn.

Looking at some pictures online, it does look like they sit well off of the roof, so it is looks safe.

Tons of room several inches of clearance. And this is without adjusting the bars to fit the d90 roof. Funny how similar the width of the two vehicles is.

Cool. Looks like the 8" would work on a flat roof and not quite on a ribbed.
