Good Mechanic in North NJ/NY

Hi Everyone
My Defender 110 is coming from UK , and I would need a good mechanic that knows what he is doing and doesn't rip you off with his fees. Please let me know .I have no idea where to take her once I have it in US.

Any suggestions for a shop around NYC? I live just north of the city in Westchester county ...

I've reached out to Rovertek, but have had a hard time getting him to respond - which is exactly the kind of situation I'd like to avoid.

So do I just find any guy named Felix? That's pretty dope.

Came across Classic 4x4 in Fairfield. Had a chat with Dawson - I'll be dropping off the 90 this weekend and he'll take a look next week. Fingers crossed!

This poster was admitted into Sloan Kettering in mid Feb and never made it back out. I handled the shipment and import of his truck which was a bit of a project that he paid too much for. I can only offer advice, how they spend their money is up to them. The wife has the truck in NJ since March and may or may not want to sell her husbands prize possession.

Doug,

If the family needs any local assistance I am sure I/we can do something. We have the boost club within throwing distance as well.
