I have moved from the NY area to Raleigh, NC. Does anyone one have a favorite shop for their 90 in the Raleigh area. Thanks.

Loudon Rover in Chantilly Virginia on Route 50 west of Route 28. Owner/Mechanic is an ex-Land Rover Alexandria mechanic that does a great job. He even picks up your vehicle for you if youre in a reasoable distance from the shop.

Google it.

This is't a place to take your Rover to get fixed but if you fix stuff yourself they might come in handy. I used to work across the street from these guys, they have a ton of Jaguar parts, put they also have some Land Rovers there too. I bought defender lugnuts for alloy wheels for what I thought to be cheap.

Another good shop in CT is Holland's Garage in Guilford. http://www.hollandsgarage.com/

There is a 3rd place in CT that I just became aware of, Atlantic Rover in Milford. Anybody been there or know anything about it? It's now the closest shop to me.

great Fredericksburg, VA area shop

I live in Alexandria and had some issues finding a good off road shop.

So, after some research I took my Defender to Iron Pig Offroad for ARB compressor and locker install (front and rear) and to ID a "clunk" that baffled my local LR dealer.

The shop specializes in FJs- but the mechanics are real professionals that do quality work.

Also- the bill was spot on with the estimate. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop and will gladly go there again.
