Pittsburgh area

TRS - the only one I know of, is the Bobby Rahal LR dealer in Wexford/Warrendale area on Rt 19. I dont know their work nor have I been there but I do see D90/110's there from time to time in for repairs. Good luck - hope they can help.

Any recommendations for a good LR mechanic in the Central New Jersey area? The Princeton LR dealership just lost their Defender specialist and were very expensive anyway.

Motorcar-car garage.com is in maple shade. He's worked on my Healey 100/4 and has a D90, board member too. His name is Peter Cosmides.
There's also a place in Flemington called Authorized Imported Car. no knowledge of their work but they advertise as working on LR. Let me know how you make out.

Austin, TX area mechanic

Looking for recommendations for a good (reasonable) mechanic in the Austin area. At this point, just need fluids, belts, and hoses changed out, and maybe the PS leak fixed.

Many thanks

I think there are a few earlier in this thread? I'll try to take a look later if you can't find it but give it a shot.

Big Plug for DIY Auto in Denver

After reading about DIY Auto on this board and realizing it's 3 miles from my house, I tried DIY Auto today. It's $40 an our to use their bays. They supply the lift, basic tools including air tools, and they will dispose of any fluids for free.

I was able to change engine oil, gearbox, and transfer case in an hour and 15 minutes. It's heated, clean, and the staff there are super helpful. Much better than my snowy driveway.

Great mechanic in Los Angeles/ San Fernando valley

In Los Angeles/San Fernando valley
Yorks & Lancs (818) 882-9954
These guys have been maintaining my 94 Defender since 1997. They never ripped me off. Broke down in The Middle of Nowhere, New Mexico a few years ago. The only mechanic I could find knew nothing about Rovers and said I should've bought a Bronco. I called my mechanic and HE TALKED THE NEW MEXICO MECHANIC THROUGH THE REPAIR OVER THE PHONE. No charge.

Correction

My son just reminded me it was Lone Pine, CA. Turns out we ran out of gas in New Mexico on another trip - a whole other story.

Looking for Defender/Landrover Mechanic in NM

I have a Defender 110 with a 300 TDI/R380 and I just moved to Clovis, NM. I am looking for a Landrover/Defender Mechanic near me. I am about 2 hours from Amarillo and Lubbock Texas, 4 hours from Albuquerque, NM.

I know there is one I Albuquerque, but I am looking for someone closer. Any help?

P.S. If anyone on here lives near by and wants to start a monthly gathering, PM me.

Cheers!
