Actually I was surprised to see the numbering the way it was done. I had just *assumed* it would be your id on the website - kind of a way to identify someone as you could lookup their number on the site if you didn't get to talk to them when you made the sighting.

But I then realized you'd need to have each one custom made. Maybe you can do a different colored one without numbers and we can get them stamped with our ids or something? this would allow people with multiple vehicles to get multiple with the same number too.

I agree. I'm sure that would increase the cost a great deal.

Just start them at 101 if you're doing an identical run. Some may care, but I would assume that was only the people who bought them because there were only 100 made and wanted to hoard - Shayne is the only one I could picture doing that though.

Of course the people who bought them would care about a new numbered batch. I'm sure most stepped up because it was a limited run. You don't say you're only making a limited number, then turn it into an unlimited run because some people missed out. That's what limited production means.

Correct. You will be one of the lucky few who has one numbered below 100, which will be very rare. We procrastinators will have to deal with having numbers OVER 100, which will not be rare at all. Isn't yours 800 anyway? What are you complaining about?

Ha ha, exactly. Talk about procrastination. I got a number not even made yet.

Whatever the case, not cool to change the terms of the deal. That's all I'm sayin'

I didn't buy one because they were "limited." Plus they are stamped/etched on the back, so not like it really matters what number you have.

It would actually make "Defender sense" to make more than 100. Just think of the NAS 110s - they're stamped XX/500 but there were/are actually 534.

As long as it helps fund the Birmabright Brotherhood, I really have no qualms.

I did, I meant to say I didn't buy one only because they were limited.

I got 3 stickers... one for each Rover.

Too bad I missed this run. I liked that color combination.

I'll be a cool idea to get each personalized with the "alias"... But it probably be cost prohibited.
