Terrafirma Shock Towers

Has anyone put these in stock D90? Got a set while back and finally getting around to putting them in as replacement from stock towers and seem not to fit. Top part of tower hits on well cover. Was looking around at sellers and no one mentions requiring modification.
Would appreciate any input..... Rather not have to cut well cover.
Thanks

update with some pics..... its minimal but will not line up with securing ring due to well cover.....

I have a set on my 110. They are handed. Make sure you have them on the correct side. Mine does not hit the well covers.

I removed the covers and there wasn't enough space to put them back on.

Nice price on those.... they're like originals, terrafirma are a bit wider and non-tapered on top

Put a set on my 85 D90, had to swap and change sides to get them correct, but once I had it correct fits with no touching the cap or inner fender.

Wish now I had got the shorter version for the 2" lift, but C'est la vie

Seems after swapping sides as recommended and various strategic hammer blows to inner fender cover they will fit. Tight fit for sure!!
Thanks all for the guidance!

I put them on my 90. If I remember correctly there should be at flat portion of the circular base and that should face the engine bay

There is a square edge on base and does seem to have to face engine, even then rubs on top by engine bay shock opening. Hopefully drivers side will be easier fit.

Does anybody know why there are two holes drilled at 45 degrees on the top? Are those functional? I thought they might be there so you could slip a bolt across the top to mount eyelet shocks. I have Bilstien 7100s and I would get these towers over the D2 towers if they would accept an eyelet shock. Any thoughts?
