So I've finished wiring the TD5 dash and warning lights; just have one wire remaining.
On the retroannaconda write up it lists the glow plug light as a negative polarity. Does this mean I need to hook the glow plug ground to it? Or does the warning light require the positive feed?
I just scrolled through 627 pages of the workshop manual, I didn't see anything other than an explanation of how they are wired on the engine. I have a multi plug that plugs into my instrument panel, so I'm not sure if the signal from the ECM is + or -.
I will look some more.
You'll need to wire a relay to the 12v that goes to your glowplugs so that when the plugs are "on" the relay is energised.
Then take the dash wire from the warning light, through the relay contacts straight to earth.
